Heidi’s Corner in Myrtle Beach Breaks Ground

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. Heidi’s Corner Restaurants crossed a milestone this week, breaking ground on the lot on the corner of 82nd Avenue and Kings Highway. Designed with the goal of sustainability, the lowcountry-style building will be completed by spring of 2017 and will house Croissants Bistro & Bakery at the Grande Dunes, and a new dinner restaurant, Hook & Barrel.

“Our whole approach to this project revolves around our responsibility to the environment,” said owner, Heidi Vukov. “We’re looking at every aspect, from using the trees onsite inside the building, to environmentally-friendly packaging, to sustainable fish on our menu, to no grease-laden equipment in the kitchen. These are just a few of the many examples of our environmentally-responsible approach.”

Hook & Barrel and Croissants Bistro & Bakery at the Grande Dunes will be open to the public in the spring of 2017. In addition to dining in, Hook & Barrel and both Croissants locations will be available for private events.
