Beginning at the age of 5, Alex was regularly at Croissants – opening the bakery at 4am with her mom, bussing tables, doing dishes, icing cookies and making coffees.

Alex attended the University of South Carolina and went on to complete her Masters at the College of Charleston. After a three-year stint in the political arena in Washington, DC, she returned home to Myrtle Beach to join the family business just in time to begin development of Heidi’s Corner. Alex handles all things communications for the business, as well as the role of (self-proclaimed) Potato Connoisseur.
